Photography
University Marketing and Communications (UMAC) maintains a collection of photos for UT faculty and staff to use on their websites, social media, printed materials and promotional campaigns. The images are housed on Image Relay, a searchable digital asset library.
To sign up for a free Image Relay account, please email submissions@utexas.edu.
Not all photographs reside within Image Relay. To check on additional photos you might need, please email submissions@utexas.edu.
Archived Photo Requests
To request specific images from 2003 – present, please submit the Digital Asset Request Form. Requests are handled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Photos prior to 2003 are archived with the Dolph Briscoe Center for American History.
Copyright and Usage
The University of Texas at Austin retains the use, copyright and licensing of all images. Permission to use these images outside of materials created by/or for UT must be obtained before use. Exceptions are possible only if special arrangements are made in advance of reproduction and use of the images. Use of images by external partners in magazines, advertising or other commercial uses may require the payment of additional fees.
Photography for external media
External media may request images by completing and submitting the Digital Asset Request Form.
