Campus Communications

Campus Communications manages official communications from the Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost, Dean of the Undergraduate College, VP of People and Talent, the Chief Information Officer, and the Chief Financial Officer, along with a vast portfolio of administrative units focusing on undergraduate and graduate education, faculty and academic affairs, and employee engagement in the areas of talent management and human resources, information technology, and financials. These teams align themselves around the common goal of elevating the University’s internal brand while developing creative content and delivering clear, consistent, informative and strategic communications that strengthen the student, faculty, and staff experiences. Our project managers plan and manage the execution of marketing campaigns, communications initiatives, and various other projects directed by UMAC leadership.

Strategic Priorities

Strategic Priorities focuses on high-priority projects where Development and Communications overlap and projects that have a strong, external component. This team works closely with the Vice President for Development.

University Communications

University Communications manages all official communications from the Office of the President, internal messaging and media relations. These teams aim to provide accurate, timely and informative communications to Longhorn Nation and the media. The media relations team researches, writes, shares and broadcasts content across print and digital platforms, showcasing the powerful stories of The University of Texas at Austin.

University Marketing

University Marketing manages the strategy, creative and content development to strengthen UT’s global brand. The goal of these teams is to tell the stories of the students, faculty, research, and programs at UT that are changing the world. By creating inspiring content and distributing it through various channels, these teams help elevate the brand while attracting top talent and supporting UT’s fundraising efforts.
