External Communications

External Communications is responsible for strengthening the institutional narrative and protecting the University’s reputation among our external audiences and constituents. Through effective media relations and strategic communications efforts, this team ensures accuracy of the internal and external narrative, builds trust and credibility with key constituents and promotes successes and stories of impact in earned and owned channels.

Campus Communications

Campus Communications manages official communications from the Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost and the Transformation and Strategy Office and provides strategic communications support to the VP of People and Talent, the Chief Information Officer and the Chief Financial Officer to ensure cohesive academic and organizational communications across our campus community. This team’s goal is to elevate the University’s internal and employer brand by developing informative content and delivering clear and consistent communications that strengthen the student, faculty and staff experiences.

Marketing

The Marketing team leads University-wide marketing efforts, including marketing strategy and campaigns, brand strategy, messaging and content, and the digital (web and social) channels that bring the brand to life. This team strives to increase awareness and affinity, reinforce pride and ambassadorship, attract top talent and inspire support by telling and promoting the stories of the students, faculty, research and programs at UT that are changing the world.

Creative Strategy & Operations

The Creative Strategy and Operations team oversees and enhances UT’s visual identity and creative expression. They deliver impactful creative and digital assets, showcasing the brand’s strength, distinctiveness and timelessness. The team ensures brand cohesion across the UT campus, reinforcing and maintaining a unified brand presence.
