Thank you for your interest in requesting a new project with University Communications (UC)!

Before entering your request, please closely review the information below.

UC uses Hive, a cloud-based project management software. All timelines, tasks, discussions, reviews, and approvals related to a project from discovery to launch appear in Hive. The goal is to improve communication, increase collaboration and transparency, and reduce email.

Instructions for New Project Request Form:

  1. Click the “New Request” link, and a form will appear.
  2. Enter project details in the form fields.
  3. Click “Submit” once completed.

You will receive an email from Hive with the details of your project request that you just entered.

UC will review the request and contact you by phone within two business days.

Following the phone consultation, UC will review the project request internally to determine next steps.

If UC accepts the request, a project manager will schedule a project kickoff meeting.

Font and Signature requests will not require a project kickoff meeting.

Print Deadlines

For print projects, UC must receive the following:

  • Receive content by the due date
  • Receive approvals by “to print” date
  • Receive final print quantity at least three business days prior to the “to print date” so that print quotes and POs can be obtained
  • Receive assets provided by client by due date (photos, data, infographics, copy, etc.)

Last-minute project requests, changes, or delay in client approval will result in extended delivery times.
